The four ways to know your pitch patterns

Lesson 2

Pitch is the largest body of information you need to acquire to make sense of music. It is also the most fascinating. But most folks don't really understand how pitch works and how it relates to the fret board. Here you'll learn that if music is a language, then note patterns like scales, chords and melodies are much like the words in the language. They have spellings out of the musical alphabet and when you're positioning your fingers on the fret board, you are simply typing those words.
